I am a language advocate, researcher, translator, and digital inclusion specialist passionate about promoting African languages in education, technology, and the digital ecosystem. My work focuses on multilingualism, language policy, Universal Acceptance, and the preservation and advancement of indigenous languages, particularly Yorùbá. I work with local and international stakeholders through research, community engagement, content creation, storytelling, and capacity building to ensure that culture is represented and linguistic diversity is supported in the digital age. I am also the founder of initiatives dedicated to language empowerment and knowledge sharing, working to create opportunities for speakers of underrepresented languages to thrive in education, technology, and beyond.

KULTUR RIVER

Kultur River is a community-focused cultural organisation operating as a Community Interest Company (CIC) in the United Kingdom. It is dedicated to using arts, heritage, and creative engagement as tools for social impact and cultural development. Through projects, collaborations, and public-facing initiatives, the organisation aims to connect communities, particularly children and young people of African descent, with their local environment and cultural identity, while also supporting creative expression and cultural education. Its work sits at the intersection of culture, environment, and community development, with an emphasis on making heritage and creativity accessible and meaningful in everyday life.

Yobamoodua Cultural Heritage

Yobamoodua Cultural Heritage (YMCH) is a language and cultural organisation based in Nigeria dedicated to the promotion, preservation, and digital advancement of the Yorùbá language, culture, and indigenous knowledge systems. Through language revitalisation initiatives, localisation projects, cultural engagements, research, storytelling, translation, and digital inclusion advocacy, the organisation works to ensure that Yorùbá and other Nigerian languages remain relevant and accessible. YMCH is also actively involved in initiatives that foster community participation, cultural education, and knowledge sharing across generations.

TermLog

Termlog.ng is a collaborative terminology standardisation platform focused on documenting and harmonising technical and academic terms across Nigerian languages. It supports multilingual knowledge development by providing structured definitions of concepts in English alongside equivalents in languages such as Hausa, Igbo and Yorùbá, helping to bridge communication gaps in science, technology, and education. By enabling linguists, educators, and native speakers to contribute and refine entries, Termlog.ng plays a key role in building consistent and accessible vocabulary systems that strengthen indigenous language use in formal and digital contexts.

NLDSTC

The Nigerian Languages Data and Sci-Tech Conference (NLDSTC) is a gathering of language experts, technologists, academia, and everyone who is interested in the development of Nigerian languages. The conference aims to encourage the use of Nigerian languages in the day-to-day life of society, and it seeks to promote the over 500 ethnic minority languages spoken in the country. A major aim of the conference is to promote the accessibility of all living Nigerian languages, most especially in the world of technology.
